What is counselling?

Counselling is talking about your thoughts and feelings with someone who will listen and help you make sense of things.

No problem is ever too big or too small to bring to counselling and talking about it can make a difference.

The overall aim of counselling is to provide you with the opportunity to work towards living in a more content and happy way.

Your counsellor will not judge you, and will offer a regular time each week to suit you, our service is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.

Sharing your feelings with a counsellor, and finding solutions to move forward, can help you feel happier about yourself and your life.

Confidentiality...

Usually no one else needs to know you are coming for counselling unless you wish to tell them.  However, in extreme situations where the counsellor has concerns for your personal safety and well-being or that of others, confidentiality may need to be broken.

Counselling is voluntary and confidential

you chose whenever you attend and what you want to talk about.
